It’s time to get building. Once we’ve customized the perfect pool design and budget, our pool builders will break ground. During the construction process, we’ll make every effort to accommodate your ideal timeline, and communicate with you about our progress every step of the way. We do our best to avoid causing you any inconvenience during the construction process, so you can go about your daily routines with confidence and ease.

Our Pool Building Process

Legacy Pools & Spas builds in-ground gunite pools, which follow a unique construction process.

First, we’ll obtain all the proper construction permits, bring our excavation equipment, and start digging. Once we’re done excavating space for your pool, it’s time to start constructing a network of metal bars that your pool will be built around. These metal bars act as a 3D ‘outline’ of your pool.

Once we’ve established the metal base of your pool, it’s time to add the gunite. Gunite is a concrete blend that helps us build a contoured, uniquely shaped, visually appealing pool. We’ll fill in the ‘outline’ we established with our metal bars.

Our team will wait for the gunite to cure, then waterproof the pool. Finally, we'll add all the finishing touches, like pool tiles and features, and then it's time to enjoy your new pool!
